FOR SHERPA ROOF TOP CARRIER
- When the roof top carrier is not filled to its maximum capacity, it will cause wind shearing, which causes material damage. Roof top carrier must be completely filled. When unable to fill the Sherpa, pack large spaces with pillow, polyfoam, sleeping bags, etc. This prevents shifting of the cargo.
- When you have traveled approximately 10 miles or 10 minutes, find a safe place to pull off road and tighten the straps and tie off the loose end of each strap. This will prevent noise from the loose ends flapping on the side of your vehicle and the Sherpa and will prevent the strap from causing material abrasion.
- We have on several occasions not been able to completely fill our Sherpa as completely as we like. We have used bungee cords to help secure the carrier which helps keep the material from wind shear damage. Attach to the roof rack and cris-cross the cords over the top of the Sherpa.
